As HR Generalist, you are responsible for all HR related administration for all employees, you are only point of contact for everyone within the company and you make sure everyone is working according to the companies culture, rules and regulations. The HR Generalist has the skill-set necessary to transform an organization’s commercial objectives into HR policies.You are responsible for the recruitment of new employees and retention of the current talent of the company. You are managing the recruitment process and coordinating all responsibilities that come with retaining talent and the termination and retirement process. The HR Generalist will serve as a “point of first contact” for all of the company’s head office employees and will manage employee relations. You will handle any personnel issues that may arise with employees. It is the HR Generalist's responsibility to maintain a “pulse” on the company.
Another part will be reviewing and managing the appraisal process, including developing performance databases and researching compensation packages and benchmarks. Together with the individual department managers, the HR Generalist will assist in the career development, team building, training (and succession planning) of employees.
You will be responsible together with the department managers for ensuring that employees have the skills/(legal) qualifications necessary for carrying out their jobs. You will help filter and select relevant training courses in conjunction with the various departments and administer the training program. You will also also keep up to date with all relevant employee legislation. Monitoring employees leave in accordance with leave balance and leave policy, verifying that proper handover is done prior to any leave.

For the position of HR Generalist, we are looking for someone matching the following criteria;
* To have a good understanding of HR "best practice" policies including (Dutch) employment law;
* Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources Administration or a related field;
* Fluent written and spoken English, Dutch is a plus;
* 2-4 years of relevant experience within HR;
* The ability to negotiate and mediate, as well as to discipline;
* Awareness of how HR ties into the company's commercial objectives;
* Highly dedicated and committed to company targets and strategy;
* Available 5 days a week.
