We are looking for a temporary System Engineer Retail (RFID) for a four month assignment at one of the most well known fashion companies based in Amsterdam.

We are looking for an enthousiastic allround (junior) technical engineer who has a broad interest in technology, has a get stuff done mentality, enjoys to learn new things and can support our RFID deployments. The focus is on RFID Technology, project management (such as planning, coordination with local IT teams, creating and maintaining project documentation, status updates, tracking issues, risks and actions) and overall technology elements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the RFID Project Manager with moving from ideation to scalable solutions
* Transfer knowledge to documentation and KB’s for the support teams
* Assist in deployment of RFID technology across our stores
* Answer/troubleshoot support calls & emails
* Support outside store team

A challenging 3 month assignment.

Job Requirements:

The Systems Engineer Retail/RFID we are looking for is foremost a service and solution driven techie with excellent communicative skills. Next to that you have: * 2+ years of networking knowledge/experience - DHCP/Static IP, VPN, DNS, VLAN, Subnets * 2+ years of Windows OS knowledge/experience - server and desktop * Knowledge of iOS * Analytical skills - the ability to problem solve in a retail environment * Ability to take ownership of support issues * Ability to multitask - involved in/supporting multiple projects at once * Strong Interest in Wireless/RF, RFID both hardware and tags, MDM.
