Are you keen on making a difference in the lives of young people in care by providing bespoke and holistic care?

We have an exciting opportunity to join a successful Children’s Service provider as Head of Care for a new Complex Trauma Home.

You would be joining a supportive team network where you will receive on- going support to help you perform at your best with career progression opportunities.

The Role:

* Be responsible for the management of the residential service, through strong leadership and direction of your team.
* Ensure the highest quality of care.
* Be responsible for the unconditional positive regard for the young people in the home whilst setting clear boundaries and expectations, committing to the principle of ‘high warmth/ high control’ and sticking with difficult placements.
* Take responsibility for the management of budgets
* Developing and sustaining effective relationships with external agencies, professional bodies and stakeholders.
* Be able to establish robust quality assurance processes to ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation

Requirements:

* 2 years working with BESD children within the past 5 years
* Management Qualification
* Level 5 / LMC – NVQ Level 4
* Full driving licence
* 1 year at Senior Level in residential care
* Managing Ofsted inspections to a minimum overall ‘good’ rating
