Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manger for a Permanent opportunity.

Purpose of the role

As a Regional Sales manager P&S you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operation for specific Key Accounts & responsible for the related geographical area.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain, develop and grow existing accounts
• Follow up enquiries in agreed accounts
• Follow up all new account enquiries
•• Evaluate and act upon account trends with CSA
• Work as key point of contact for Southampton branch ensuring commercial activities are coordinated and targeted
• Complete CRM / Call Planner
• Visit end user customers to obtain information, provide advice and problem resolution
• Increase business opportunities through various routes to market
• Achieve targets agreed and set for your area
• Develop new business and accounts
• Service the needs of your existing customers and accounts
• Understand market conditions, via gathering and reporting market trends
• Maintain Competitor Awareness
• Work with the Sales Director to agree Sales strategy.
• Increase Product portfolio through identification of customer processes
• Work towards agreed Sales budget and EBIT requirements
• Pass back sales leads to CSA/CSM for quote or qualification activity
• To maintain good communication channels across the clients UK organisation
• Build and maintain a working knowledge of our product range, industries served and customer

Qualifications

Full UK Driving License, suitable Vocational Qualification

Experience

Must have worked in a customer facing sales environment, Mechanical background or specific product sales experience

Desirable

A minimum of five years’ experience working within either the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Food and Pharma Industry.
