Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for a new MLD SEN provision.

We are working with a successful organisation who provides an integrated service for children who have experienced trauma in their lives resulting in emotional behavioural difficulties.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful Service where you will be surrounded by a team of workers with a network of on-going support to help you perform at your best. There is also lots of opportunities for Career Progression.



Your Responsibilities will be:

* To work along side the manager in safeguarding and making sure every child and young person gets the high quality care as measured by Ofsted in the social care common inspection framework.
* To assist the manager in managing the home, including staff, external relationships, the budget, the resources and fabric of the building.

Requirements:

* Two years’ recent experience of working with Children or young people in a residential setting.
* NVQ Level 5 in Children and Young people or working towards to it.
* Nursing Experience preferred
* The ability to develop good relationships with young people and have mentoring skills that will encourage young people to achieve their goals
* Have a good understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the provision of residential care of children and young people
