Our client, a leading asset manager, is looking to hire an experienced business analyst to join their team. You will be well versed in the software development lifecycle, comfortable working in an Agile environment and can demonstrate solid business analysis experience. Whilst experience in the investment sector is beneficial, wider financial services or a regulatory background can be considered sector is beneficial, wider financial services or a regulatory background can be considered.

Essential Skills/Experience:

* Previous professional business analysis experience.
* Being able to assess analysis requests and project works and provide high level estimates.
* Significant experience working as an end to end business analyst.
* Documentation of high quality analysis deliverables, such as process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

* Industry relevant experience or knowledge, specific to asset management.
* Operating as the primary analyst and supporting other BA’s during projects.
* Coaching of less experienced BA’s.
* Regulatory project work is beneficial.

Core Responsibilities:

* Joining the analysis team, you will be expected to provide high quality analysis across a number of projects, with autonomy to plan and conduct your own analysis within a support framework.
* Assist business areas in becoming compliant with upcoming regulatory changes impacting the business
* Work across several projects and programmes to complete analysis across multiple external vendors and the coordination and integration of messaging between each.
* Work closely with key business stakeholders in these areas, who initially would be within the front office to understand their challenges and requirements and help develop scalable and flexible solutions.
* Be comfortable with gathering and documenting requirements from all levels of stakeholders and questioning current processes and procedures.
* Have a thorough understanding of the full software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to collaborating with UX designers, technical architects, developers, and testers to enable delivery of scalable solutions.
