We are recruiting for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our Endoscopy team in Ealing.

Our services run from Monday to Sunday and this role covers 37.5 hours on a shift pattern rota basis.

Introduction to the role:

As a Senior Staff Nurse with InHealth you will support the Unit Sister on the clinical management units to ensure the relevant teams deliver a consistently high standard of care for all patients attending for a procedure. You will take the lead, with support of the Unit Sister, for the setting up and ongoing management of off-site locations and offer guidance to junior staff as a senior clinical expert.

What will you be responsible for?

* Demonstrating specialist expertise and professional knowledge, acting as a role model for clinical practice and leadership
* Taking ownership for management of the unit in the absence of the Unit Sister, assuming full ownership of people management and resources
* Supporting the recruitment and retention of staff within the service, assisting with interviews and promoting employee engagement
* Keeping the patient’s experience at the core of service delivery through implementation and continued monitoring of standards and patient satisfaction surveys
* Acknowledging and dealing with patient issues on the unit as they arise, providing timely solutions and helping to minimise formal complaints
* Being aware cleanliness standards and infection control throughout the unit, raising any issues as appropriate

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

* Degree level education alongside relevant professional membership (NMC registration)
* Experience in mentoring, assessing, coaching and developing teams or direct reports
