We require an adaptable, experienced Production Planner to support the production team this role will be predominantly split between office and the factory to provide the production plan and make sure as a business we provide a quality finished bespoke new park homes and modular buildings by given deadlines.

We are now expanding our manufacturing team and want you to bring your transferable skills to our undercover Wellingborough, Northamptonshire based site. You will be liaising with different departments to achieve daily targets and quality standards, resolving challenges that may arise and seeking advice as necessary.

This is a production-based (split between office and factory) role. The main purpose of this role is threefold.

* To be the communications officer of the department - This role plays vital importance in the daily communications coming into and transmitting out of the department. Due to the importance the production department has on the other areas of the business, communications need to be accurate, consistent, and timely.
* To be a conduit between management in the manufacturing department and managers and key members of other departments within the business. To take information from the rest of the business and build a robust and flexible production plan for the Production Managers to execute. Work with other departments to find solutions to any problems impacting the line.
* Organising any works that are off the factory line. These could be production projects or rectification works due to production errors.

* Responsible for ensuring continuous material supply for each order by liaising with Purchasing and stores departments. Highlight material shortages and help to create solutions.
* Responsible for ensuring production drawings are correct before issuing into production by organising the correct attendance of production experts within the PDR meetings.
* Liaise with the logistics Manager daily to align production progress with dispatch dates.
* Responsible for preparing the production plan for the department.
* Assisting management with the day-to-day administration of the production department, showing flexibility in your approach.
* Work as part of the team, keep an organised working environment and plan own tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved.
* Take ownership of the role and develop and maintain relationships – and build/ coach direct reports.
* Ensuring any customer information and systems are maintained within GDPR regulations.
* Responsible for issuing departmental communications to the rest of the business.
