Job Description:

Job title: Senior MRI Radiographer

Location: Preventicum Clinic - Chancery Lane, Central London

Salary: £36,000 to £43,000 depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: 12 months FTC with potential to go permanent

Preventicum is an established, private clinic offering detailed health assessments within a luxury environment. Located in central London, the clinic is easily accessed by many transport links. We offer state-of-the-art health check ups in a ‘5-star’ environment, including diagnostic imaging services, where we combine the very latest in x-ray free medical technology (1.5T and 3T Philips MRI systems) to deliver the best quality of customer service for our patients.

We are now looking for a Senior MRI Radiographer to join our innovative team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract, however there is potential for this role to go permanent as we look to expand our service offering through 2022. This is an exciting time for the clinic and the role will suit an individual that can work as part of a multi-disciplinary team but also on their own initiative. Working alongside doctors and clinicians, we are looking for a flexible, professional, confident individual with and a 'can do’ attitude.

What are the key responsibilities of the Radiographer’s role?

* Carry out magnetic resonance imaging procedures to best practice standards of radiographic technique (MHRA Guidance 2015, IR(ME)R 2017, Code of Clinical Practice)
* Provide a great experience for patients attending for an MRI scan, supporting them through the process from referral to results
* Run quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
* Respect and work within patient’s and service users’ customs, values and spiritual beliefs, making sure their views are sought and taken into account
* Perform triage functions of referrals, as required
* Support patient bookings and make sure Patient Information Systems are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information

We want to hear from individuals that:

* Can demonstrate an appreciation of patient care and are passionate about providing a 5-star service for customers and colleagues
* Have a genuine desire to be part of a fast-growing clinic where customer relationships are key
* Have the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a multidisciplinary team
* Understand the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and GDPR

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

* BSc Radiography or equivalent with HCPC registration
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience completing basic and complex MRI scans
* History of completing Cardiac MRI examinations would be preferable
* Expertise to ensure the appropriate triage, booking and examination of patients
* A high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant Codes of Practice
* A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work contracted hours across 7 days per week
