Work environment The Contract Officer is responsible to initiate, plan and manage procurement contracts, including through standing offer call-ups, in support of Canadian Armed Forces European-based operations. The work may cover procurements with technical complexity, commercially sensitive or protected information, including but not limited to the following fields: the provision of a wide range of services, such as lease/rental, maintenance and repair/modification of equipment, transportation and fleet services, technical and professional services, maintenance and support of real property, real life support, as well as the acquisition of a wide range of products, materials and equipment.
In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) Education: - Completion of higher-level secondary school (e.g. Realschule) AND completed apprenticeship or vocational training program (e.g. Ausbildung) in field related to Business, Administration, or Finance; OR an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as: Completion of higher-level secondary school (e.g. Realschule) AND three years’ experience in a field related to Business, Administration or Finance.
Language:

Experience: - Experience (normally acquired over a minimum of one year) working in Business, Administration or Finance
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook (or other comparable email programs
