SENIOR CHEMICAL OPERATIVE
Water Technology is an Irish owned indigenous business who have
been manufacturing cleaning detergents, food ingredients and
specialist chemicals in the dairy, food and beverage sector for over 40
years.
We are looking for an experienced Chemical Operative, ideally who has
experience working with hazardous chemicals, to join our busy team in
Togher, Cork.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Blending detergents, chemicals, water treatment products and
food ingredients as per S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure) /
Formulation.
 Labelling containers and filling off product.
 Ensure mixing tank cleanliness after each batch produced.
 Completion of Production Records-Job I.D. Cards, Production
Logs, Cleaning Records etc.
 Maintaining a clean workplace.
 Movement of raw materials and finished products within the
warehouse using forklifts and other material handling
equipment.
 Liaising with Production Manager in timely fashion on safety
issues, when breakdowns occur, or repairs are needed.
 Washing IBC’s as and when required.
 Loading of goods for dispatch.
THE INDIVIDUAL
 Highly organised and able to work on own initiative.
 Safety focused with a respect for Health and Safety standards.
 Positive attitude and willingness to learn and get stuck in.
 Good communicator

 A good command of the English language, essential.
 Valid Work Permit, essential.
EXPERIENCE
 Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility,
essential.
 Previous chemical production, essential.
 Forklift experience required.
 Full Clean drivers Licence.

Shift is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, overtime is optional at the
weekends.
