SAP Datasphere / Data Modeling Senior Consultant

Who we are We are part of a global SAP Practice, supporting international customers in building and evolving modern, cloud-based data and analytics platforms.Our teams focus on data modeling, semantic layers and integration, ensuring data consistency, quality and reusability across complex enterprise landscapes.We work closely with architects, analytics teams and business stakeholders to enable scalable, governed and insight-driven data solutions.We are looking for a Senior SAP Datasphere / Data Modeling Consultant to join our SAP Data & Analytics team.In this role, you will focus on data modeling, semantic design and integration, enabling analytics and planning use cases across SAP and non-SAP platforms.This role is centered on data design quality, modeling best practices and collaboration with analytics and architecture teams. What you'll be doing Design and implement data models and semantic layers in SAP DatasphereBuild and manage spaces, views, and data flows in DatasphereIntegrate SAP Datasphere with SAP source systems (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA)Support integration scenarios with non-SAP data platforms where applicableApply best practices for data modeling, performance, security and governanceCollaborate with SAP Analytics Cloud teams to enable reporting and planning use casesParticipate in solution design and architecture discussionsSupport documentation, knowledge sharing and mentoring activities What You’ll Bring Along Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.Minimum 5-10 years of experience in SAP data, BI or analytics-related rolesStrong experience in data modeling and semantic layer designHands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (or strong background in SAP HANA / BW with transition to Datasphere)Understanding of analytical modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, hierarchies)Good understanding of SAP BTP concepts (connectivity, security, integrations)Experience working with SAP data sources (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA)Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud consumption of Datasphere modelsExposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)Familiarity with data governance or Data Mesh conceptsAwareness of AI-enabled analytics and emerging SAP data innovationsInterest in future SAP data platforms such as Business Data Cloud (BDC)SAP certifications in data, analytics or HANAAbility to collaborate with analytics, architecture and business teamsStrong communication skills and fluent English (German is nice to have)
