We are currently looking for full time Chef de Partie for our gorgeous Avoca Ballsbridge location. The ideal candidate would ideally have general Chef de Partie experience working in a fast paced service environment.This role is for immediate start, 5 days per week and is a permanent full-time contract. Day-time hours only.Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Support: Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing a motivated and efficient kitchen team. Menu Innovation: Contribute to seasonal menu development using fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients. Food Quality: Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to an excellent standard. HACCP Compliance: Maintain rigorous food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring all procedures align with EHO regulations. Stock Management: Implement FIFO practices and maintain well-organised storage areas. Team Development: Partake in and support a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.Key RequirementsRelevant culinary qualification with 3 years' experience in a professional kitchenKnowledge of HACCP procedures and industrial catering standardsExperience in menu planning and food cost managementStrong teamwork and initiative with excellent communication skillsProfessional, courteous, and committed to maintaining high personal hygiene standards Proven experience in a high-volume restaurant or cafe environment Strong leadership and communication skills A proactive, hands-on approach and excellent work ethic Genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and high standards Organised and calm under pressure with strong multitasking abilities Flexibility to support where needed across the kitchen operationAdditional BenefitsDay time hours onlyDiscounted meals on shiftCatering facilities on siteStaff discountAvoca is an equal opportunities employer.Skills:Food safetyFood PreparationCulinary Skills
