Logistics Executive - Fixed term contract

As a Logistics Executive, you will be working with our customers both internationally and domestically to ensure that the consignments are delivered in full on time, every time. You'll join a large logistics team of 25 people within a global organisation of 500. The logistics team provides a collaborative atmosphere, where you can continue to learn and specialise in logistics within a fast-paced environment, supported by people that are true specialists. This role is on-site at our HQ in Slinfold. This role is day shift 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm on a 12 month fixed term contract.What you will be doingExceed customer expectations and meet requirements through the global shipping You'll research and use the most economical and fast-paced methods of moving consignments globallyDecide the best method of shippingComplete compliance documents Negotiating the cost of shipping Consider handling, labelling, and shipping dangerous goods Collaborating with internal departments to achieve department and company goals, in particular, the warehouse to ensure that no interruptions happen in the customer journeyMeeting set company goalsAbout you Strong organisational and problem‑solving skillsGood communication and teamworkAbility to manage tasks independentlyComfortable handling documentation and following processesMotivated, reliable, and goal‑drivenDesirable:Experience in a fast‑paced or operational roleFamiliarity with global teamsBackground in logistics or supply chainWhy join us?
