We are looking for a passionate, driven Senior Account Manager to take primary ownership of our customer and partner relationships in Switzerland. The Role In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with key customers and partners, working closely with our Professional Services team and wider Descartes organisation. Your focus is on customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth through upsell opportunities. You will act as the main point of contact for contract renewals and ensure timely, accurate execution. You will regularly visit customers and partners across Switzerland, directly contributing to Descartes’ success in the region. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will join an energetic, supportive team that consistently strives to exceed customer expectations, supported by international teams including Marketing, Professional Services, Legal, and Customer Support. What We’re Looking For A seasoned professional with strong domain expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and how these are supported by EDI business flows. Knowledge of eInvoicing is a strong plus. Proven experience in customer-facing roles, bringing energy, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Ability to engage and influence senior executives and operational leaders, clearly articulating how Descartes’ EDI and messaging solutions drive operational efficiency and bottom-line savings. Key Attributes Self-starter and team player with experience in the B2B EDI or related SaaS space. Energetic, confident, and resilient in a fast-paced environment. Analytical and curious, able to understand complex business challenges. Strong relationship builder, comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders. Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a big-picture mindset. Collaborative, open-minded, and proactive in bringing new ideas forward. What You Bring 5+ years of B2B experience, ideally within SaaS or subscription-based models. Strong business planning skills with the ability to measure, report, and adapt performance. Proven success in dynamic, evolving environments. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Fluent in German (Swiss) and English; French and/or Italian are an advantage.
