An innovative international company is seeking a highly qualified and driven Quantum 3D Integration Engineer to join their team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of next-generation quantum processors through the invention, design, and testing of advanced scaling and integration techniques.

Your main responsibility for the role is to set the trajectory for the organization's next quantum processor by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the design and fabrication of qubit chips are aligned with 3D architecture development. Your contributions will be instrumental in realizing the vision of delivering quantum processors with over 1000 qubits, empowering customers with cutting-edge research and in our internal quest for a scalable quantum computer.

Other responsibilities include;

* Pioneer new methods for scaling the number of qubits in a processor, exploiting novel 3D integration techniques;
* Collaborate closely with chip designers and fabrication experts to ensure seamless integration of qubit chips into the 3D architecture, while maintaining high yield;
* Conduct rigorous testing and validation to verify the performance and reliability of 3D integrated quantum systems;
* Keep up to date with the latest advancements in quantum computing, 3D integration technologies, and related fields, applying this knowledge to continually enhance the approaches and methodologies.

* A salary indication of €5000 - €7000 gross per month based on 40 hours per week depending on your knowledge and experience;

Job Requirements:

* A PhD in Superconducting Quantum or related field; * Microwave engineering experience or affinity; * Great Python programming skills; * Superconducting quantum circuits / cQED experience or affinity; * Experience with qubits or quantum amplifiers; * Cleanroom experience; * Cryogenic measurement experience.
