Are you a African Sales Manager looking for an exciting new challenge in Lagos, Nigeria? Keep reading! A company that specialise in bringing sport and the sports betting industry closer together via world-class sports content, are looking for you to join their team! You will be working with sports betting and digital media industries to assist in the delivery of sales and distribution of sport content services.

Your key job responsibilities as the African Sales Manager in Lagos, Nigeria will include:

  • Develop and manage a client base of African sports betting and media companies
  • Deliver sales and revenue against annual targets
  • Present product portfolio that includes sports streaming, sports data content and related products
  • Manage all stages of the sales process
  • Lead face to face meetings and presentations across the continent
  • Lead and support new business approaches, RFPs and pitches
  • Account management and up-sell new products and services
  • Maintain excellent staff, customer and client relations at all times
  • Represent the company effectively in its commercial relationships with customers and sports federations
  • Tracking and forecasting of performance vs target for the region
  • Attend and participate in relevant industry conferences

Job Requirements:

Requirements for this African Sales Manager job in Lagos, Nigeria:

  • Must have experience of working in a sales or business development role
  • Proven track record of building strong client relationships at senior levels
  • Track record of building strong client relationships at senior levels across the African continent in the Sportsbook & Betting arenas
  • Must be a university graduate
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the sports betting industry (advantageous)
  • Experience in broadcast sales (advantageous)
  • Prior international experience would be an advantage
  • Strong presentation, communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Confident and comfortable with a fast-paced sales environment
  • Willing to go beyond the base level job requirements
  • Fluent in English; candidates will also ideally possess an additional language skills
