Ashley Kate Finance are delighted to be working with a Gloucestershire based college, who are looking to welcome a Finance Manager to their finance team. Reporting to the Finance Director and with two direct reports, this role will focus on managing the day to day of the finance function, as well as working on exciting projects. Duties include: Responsible for annual budgets - consulting with budget holders and comparing prior year costsPreparation for first draft salary budgetPreparing monthly financial statements, including forecastsPreparation of pre-audit statutory financial statementsMonth end and year end processes in R32000Preparation and presentation of quarterly contribution accountingStreamlining and improving many processes within the finance functionContinuous development of timely, relevant and accurate College Financial reporting systemsSupport the Finance Director to retain clean Audit outcomes and effective reporting to external stakeholdersEnjoy playing a full role as part of the Finance team in providing the best possible service to our staff, students and other stakeholders We are looking to speak with Accountants who have strong accounting and management experience, who are comfortable and experienced working with large figures.
