To ensure all technical elements of project work or non-standard requests are planned, designed, and documented to an agreed architecture standard.Deliver productised, standardised solutions to an optimal design that meets or exceeds identified business requirements, that are abstracted up to applies across the Group whilst also bridging the gap between the technical and non-technical stakeholdersThe role is central and aligned with all Group locations, it should ensure that systems are robust, supportable and reflect the standards set out in the Technical Architecture Strategy.The role should continuously review the external marketplace, including themes and trends. Lead innovative change proposals and contribute to the Strategic direction of IT.Act as the point for technical escalation across BAU & Project Delivery where needed as the overall Design Authority, ensuring our environment is the best it can be.Ensure technical solutions meet the Group current and future needs, decoupling problems, removing noise and articulating a clear path forward.Your responsibilities will include:Develops a culture and works in a manner that is aligned with values & behaviorsLead the definition of Technology Architecture and Solutions and defines the way in which all systems should be planned, structured, implemented and managedActively contribute to the Technical Architecture Roadmap and be responsible for guiding the implementation of the technology platforms needed to support the organisations goals, projects and initiativesContribute to the organisation's financial well-being by ensuring that business and commercial outcomes are a major part of evaluating the performance solutionsAct as lead resource during critical call escalations to support and guide the teams during any Major Incidents.Occasionally carry out hands on technical work that follows on from design Manage all 3rd parties where there a technical service is provided company, attending meetings and being accountable for our architecture.Accountable for design & health of our AWS Public cloud environment Accountable for localised Edge Services from right first time provision and onward scaleResponsible for ensuring the correct software license position is in place for all design proposals.
