+ You’ll be an ambitious team player with the experience, technical and commercial skills to take responsibility for delivering projects. You’ll be comfortable working independently to ensure technical quality and adherence to budget and programme. You’ll have prepared proposals and led inputs to projects from desk study and feasibility through ground investigation and interpretation to final design.

Our experts provide one-stop access to services from desk studies, site investigation, risk assessment, remediation (strategy, design, implementation and validation), monitoring and close-out on a range of contracts. We work for leading UK and international clients on commissions of varying scale across all sectors, such as industrial, pharmaceutical, strategic land holders, ports, road and rail. Some recent projects include the Thames Tideway, HS2, Net Zero Teeside and the Lower Thames Crossing.
**ABOUT THE JOB**
+ We’re seeking an experienced Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based in any of our UK offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within an established and successful company that prioritises the welfare and wellbeing of our people.
+ Experienced and skilled in contaminated land assessment and management.
+ Strong understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
+ Working knowledge of CDM and site management.
+ Previous hands on experience of ground investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, collection of soil, groundwater and ground gas samples, or the supervision of remediation.
+ Development of CSM.
+ Qualitative and/or quantitative risk assessment.
+ Strong written and verbal communication and ability to write clear and concise technical reports.
+ Strong analytical skills.
+ Strong problem-solving and inter-personal skills.
+ Ability to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a multi-disciplinary setting.
+ Clean driving licence.
+ Willing to travel within the UK.
+ Chartered or on track to achieve it within 6-12 months.
