Job Description:

Occupational Therapist

£28,000 - £42,000 – Occupational Therapist – 37.5hrs a week

I am actively recruiting for a committed band 5-7 Occupational Therapist to work on a permanent long term basis, within an innovative service in Bedfordshire.

You will be working for a stable service, which is well regarded and quickly developing. You will truly make a difference within this inpatient unit, and will directly support adults with complex mental health and learning disabilities issues. You will also be working within a supportive MDT team, adding up to your quick growth and CPD.

Most importantly, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to shape and develop the future service, once you achieve your own professional and personal growth.

I am looking for:

* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist, minimum band 5 level
* Full member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
* A passionate and innovative individual who wants to be at the forefront of developing innovative services for people with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health problems.
* An OT who is willing to be part of a dynamic and supportive therapies team, consisting of psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and an art therapist.

My client’s offer:

* Competitive salary comparative to the NHS range
* Unique induction and ongoing training, tailored to your needs and interests. Past trainings involved Sensory integration and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.
* Supervision tailored to the needs of the successful candidate, provided by the Lead OT.
* Beautiful work site, close to nature and the Lakeside area in Wyboston.
* Annual leave - 33 days leave per year (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
* Duvet Days – get rewarded for coming into work with an extra day off for full attendance
* Wellbeing Support, Advice and Guidance – via their Employee Assistance Program though an online portal or over the telephone
* Employee of the Month – each month they recognise staff from each area of the business for their hard work and commitment
* Long Service Awards – receive 2 weeks extra annual leave and 2 weeks’ pay for reaching 10 years’ service!
* Health Scheme – employees can opt into paying for a cash healthcare plan through their salary. This enables employees to claim back money towards general day to day healthcare such as opticians and dentists
