NonStop's Client, a local authority is looking for several Community Care Workers/Social Work Assistants to join their team. With this position, you get the opportunity to develop your career in social work as you benefit from regular and quality supervision while being well compensated for the work you do with a pay rate of £10 – 15/hr.
As a plus, this role is flexible with hybrid working arrangements and it allows you the opportunity to manage your own work diary without being micromanaged.
The Role: As a community care worker, your role would be to support front-line social workers to identify the needs and contribute to the development and delivery of high quality and effective work with children, young people and their families to facilitate and maximise the opportunities for their personal, social and educational development.
Requirements: To be shortlisted for this role you must be willing to learn and have had experience with children and families. You must also be able to work in the job location.
Those who have had experience in a statutory setting, previous support roles are desired, but it is certainly not a must.
