HGV Mechanic– Worsley – Permanent Role – Time served mechanics accepted



Salary: £20-£22 per hour (depending on experience) Overtime is available and paid at a time and a half after your shift or on Saturday between 0800 and 1200.



Shift:

* Monday to Friday
* 22:00-07:00
* 30 min break (unpaid)

Example OTE (based on £22ph & working x2 optional Saturdays per month 8am-12am paid at time and a half): £51,788 pa



Silver Arrow are currently recruiting for an HGV Mechanic to work for our client based in Worsley on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company, with excellent working conditions and benefits.



Your Role:

* Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions
* Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information
* Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
* Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition
* Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
* Abide with good health and safety practices and all statutory requirements including company policies

What we need from you:

* 3+ years’ experience in HGV mechanics
* Workshop/dealership experience is essential.
* Experience working with HGVs
* You will need to have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and great communication skills.
* Full Clean Driving Licence
