HGV Mechanic – Bishop’s Stortford – Permanent Role – Time Served Mechanics Accepted



Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week, between 0600-1800 (start time flexible with candidate)



COMPANY VEHICLE SUPPLIED



Salary: £18-£21 per hour (depending on experience and skills)



Example OTE: (based on £21 per hour, at 45 hours per week): £49,140 PA



Silver Arrow are currently recruiting for an HGV Mechanic to work for our client based in Bishop’s Stortford on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company, with excellent working conditions and benefits.



Your Role:

* Carry out planned inspections and servicing as and when they occur
* Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults
* Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
* Comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures



What we need from you:

* Must have 3+ years’ experience in HGV mechanics
* Workshop experience is essential.
* Experience working with HGVs
* You will need to have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and great communication skills
* Full Clean Driving Licence
