The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, management, and maintenance of Zimmer Biomet’s range of Marketing Communication activities to help achieve the company’s strategic and business goals.

Working closely with the marketing communications managers, as well as internal and external stakeholders this person is responsible for the coordination, administration and creation of MarCom activities assigned to them. The specialist assists and develops own communication strategies and recommendations for measures and is involved in the implementation of those assets through internal resources or outside creative vendors.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development of a strategic communication plans in preparation of annual budgets and other identified business programs and objectives
  • Support the execution of marketing communication campaigns from stakeholder and agency briefing through to publication
  • Support the design, creation, and execution of MarCom collaterals & digital marketing assets
  • Execute own project with little or no supervision
  • Liaise with global MarCom partners, as well as country marketing and sales
  • Conduct all administrative work (budget controlling, collateral routing, etc.) within the area of responsibility
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing communication or related field
  • Experience with and ability in supporting the creation and management of MarCom collaterals and digital marketing assets
  • Experience with marketing automation systems and processes
  • Possess understanding of MarCom & digital marketing best practices, strategies, and concepts
  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, digital marketing or another related field
  • Alternatively, proven experience in any of the above
  • Professional Experience

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel
  • Ability to work accurately and under pressure
  • Analytical thinking
  • Strong networker
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
