Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard costs, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold calculations.
* Manage manufacturing accounting functions, ensuring accurate recording of production costs and inventory valuation.
* Develop and maintain standard costs for products and components.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing costs and inventory balances.
* Conduct regular reviews of inventory controls and implement improvements as needed.
* Utilize NetSuite to manage Bill of Materials, Formula Management, Item Master, and Unit of Measure (UOM) conversions.
* Perform BOM costed inquiries to analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost savings.
* Generate reports to provide insights into manufacturing performance, inventory levels, and cost variances.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory controls.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system.
* Experience with Bill of Materials management, Formula Management, and Inventory Management within NetSuite.
* Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
