You will play a key role in integrating new cashier systems and platforms for our cutting-edge, event-driven platform in an agile environment working in cross-functional teams.Join us in taking our microservice architecture to the next level using the latest technologies such as Node.js (TypeScript), Docker, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and other emerging tools and frameworks.Your profound expertise in system integration and management will be crucial in ensuring seamless and efficient communication between ryd's internal systems and external platforms. This expertise is instrumental in enhancing the functionality and robustness of our technology platform, guaranteeing its operation at the pinnacle of efficiency, effectiveness, and with high reliability and fault tolerance.Your role will be pivotal in developing and optimizing algorithms for efficient data parsing and serialization, ensuring seamless interpretation and processing of a wide array of data structures and formats. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying and addressing potential issues in data transformation, thereby enhancing our system’s performance and adaptability across different operational scenarios.Maintain a clean codebase; your commitment to writing clean and maintainable code will greatly contribute to the overall quality and sustainability of our platform.Good backend development skills: Proven experience (Several years in practice) in writing distributed backend applications, preferably using Node.js and TypeScript, showcasing expertise in building robust and efficient solutions.Scalability and performance optimization: Demonstrated ability to design and implement high-performance and scalable systems, considering factors such as load balancing, caching, and database optimization.Open-mindedness and willingness to innovate: A forward-thinking mindset that embraces new ideas and technologies, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while leveraging the expert knowledge of the ryd team.Effective communication skills: good English communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with the team, as well as for understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions.Entrepreneurial Mindset: Embody an entrepreneurial mindset, marked by a proactive "get-things-done" attitude and a strong customer-centric focus.
