Tasks Design, develop, and implement software for power system management, including Power Flow, Load Allocation, State Estimation, Demand-Side Management, and Fault Location Collaborate with innovation ecosystem partners to build reliable and efficient software for critical energy systemsAnalyze technical requirements, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions to complex problemsParticipate in the complete software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and continuous maintenance Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Power Systems Solid understanding of power systems: generation, transmission, distribution, and consumptionKnowledge of renewable energy systemsExperience with power network modeling and simulation: Power Flow, Load Allocation, State Estimation, Demand-Side Management, Fault LocationFamiliarity with simulation tools such as Matlab, Simscape Electrical, and SimulinkProficiency in C/C++ programmingExperience with version control tools (SVN or Git)Basic knowledge of Linux (optional)Familiarity with Scrum methodology (optional)Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented mindsetKnowledge of energy markets is a plusAvailability to work in a hybrid model from Maia, Portugal Benefits At DBSPT you will find: Collaborative Environment: We value a sense of community where ideas are shared, and achievements are celebrated as a team.Global Connection: An opportunity to interact with people from different countries and cultures, expanding your network and worldview.Physical Health Support: Through Wellhub (Gympass), we offer resources and programs focused on your physical well-being.Mental Health Care: Team Care provides initiatives and actions to support your emotional and mental balance in daily life.
