We are developing a next-generation solution focused on Salesforce integrations, including OpenCTI and Service Cloud Voice. The role involves building and maintaining Java-based backend microservices using gRPC and REST, along with JavaScript for Salesforce integrations. Key Responsibilities:Be part of an agile team to develop a scalable, highly available cloud contact center software using Java and single-page JavaScript.Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering leaders and Test Engineers.Deliver scalable software in both private cloud and public cloud settings (AWS and Google Cloud Platform).Deliver using containers (docker, Kubernetes) using CI/CD in a DevOps model.Bring a positive attitude to the team, helping mentor more junior engineers, drive our standards, show ownership and an obsession for our customers. Required Skills:2+ years of professional experience developing Java applications – including delivering RESTful and gRPC apis. 5+ years of professional or open-source experience writing JavaScript MVC.Agile coding experience, working in small teams making a big impact fast.Familiarity with standard javascript async patterns (events, closures, callbacks, promises, error handling, etc.).Strong CS fundamentals and an object oriented language (think an undergrad CS degree, or similar amount of work experience).Positive, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a strong sense of ownership. Appreciated Skills:Experience with Salesforce integrations as OpenCTI and Service Cloud Voice.Experience with Voice applications and/or SIP Protocols.Experience with Contact Center or Call Center software.1+ years of professional or open-source experience with a JavaScript MVC toolkit such as React, Dojo, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Knockout or Ember.js.1+ years of experience delivering production software using Containers (Docker or similar).1+ years of experience delivering production software into Public Cloud.Experience in a modern consumer environment (Pinterest, Box, Quora, Facebook...) and/or open source projects (contributed to node.js, dojo toolkit, NPM modules, etc).Experience with GIT SCM.Passion for user experience and strong design experience.Experience with a data visualization package (Highcharts, d3.js, etc.).
