Job Description

A growth-oriented business unit of SS&C, Intralinks is a technology leader in M&A, Alternative Investments and Banking & Securities markets. Our solutions facilitate 1/3 of the world’s global M&A deal flow and 50% of the private equity raised globally.

About the Role

The Account Executive – Nordics Advisory oversees the full sales cycle within a quota-carrying territory that includes strategic banks, law firms, and private equity firms. Based primarily in Stockholm, this role involves regular travel across the Nordics. The Account Executive will engage in daily prospecting, skillfully qualifying and closing new business opportunities with clients. They will challenge existing processes and align the client's business challenges with Intralinks' solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Achieve agreed monthly and annual performance targets for New Business quota, client activity (including meetings and demos), and market knowledge development.
  • Maintain a strong and consistent schedule of cold calls, online meetings, and in-person meetings.
  • Present Intralinks’ business solutions using effective sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations and efforts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key contacts within strategic accounts, such as M&A bankers, lawyers, and investment professionals, by delivering valuable insights and demonstrating how the Intralinks platform addresses specific business challenges.
  • Collaborate with senior management and internal stakeholders to negotiate contracts and manage all follow-up activities to ensure the delivery of signed agreements.
  • Develop and oversee prospecting campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for selling complex technical products and/or services. This would typically be a limited number of the company’s products, typically a technology or those that are strategic in nature.
  • Typically specialise in a single product or product line and carries an overlay quota.
  • Coordinate the sales and technical team in support of the sale of the company’s products.

Your Experience

  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish & fluency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in software or technology sales, as well as relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities and public speaking.
