Compliance Engineer

Model: Fully Time, Fully OnsiteScope: Fully EmployedLocation: DerbyshireWe are looking for a Compliance Engineer with strong expertise in regulatory standards for industrial systems. This role is critical in ensuring that compliance is embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing support.Key Responsibilities:Ensure industrial products meet applicable regulatory and safety standards (e.g., CE, UL, ISO, IEC)Embed compliance requirements into all stages of the product lifecycle, including design, development, validation, and releaseInterpret and apply relevant regulations and standards to product designs and engineering processesWork closely with design, engineering, and quality teams to integrate compliance early in developmentLead compliance assessments, risk analyses, and certification activitiesMaintain documentation and support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissionsMonitor changes in industry regulations and ensure continuous complianceRequirements:Proven experience in compliance engineering for industrial or manufactured productsStrong knowledge of international regulatory standards and certification processesExperience integrating compliance into product lifecycle developmentUnderstanding of risk management and safety frameworksExcellent analytical, documentation, and communication skillsEssential:Demonstrable experience in industrial product complianceDesirable:Experience with automation or control systemsFamiliarity with global market access requirements
